IRF 2021 Leadership Insights Forum: Transformations
The Leadership Insights Forum is an opportunity to rethink, enhance, or transform your incentive program. We’ll gather in Boston and be inspired by a city that is always striving to create, innovate, and evolve. We’ll gather at Boston Harbor, which has been transformed from one of the filthiest in the nation to one of the cleanest. The Encore Boston Harbor is a stunning example of the new development that is attracting locals and visitors to an area that was inaccessible a generation ago.

Lisa Tanzer is the President of Katie Couric Media Marketplace, a newly formed entity where content and commerce meet to showcase mission-driven brands, innovative products, and inspiring founders. She was previously the President of The Life is Good Company, a lifestyle apparel brand dedicated to spreading the power of optimism. During her time as the President of Life is Good, the company achieved significant top- and bottom-line growth while repositioning the brand to attract a younger demographic through a focus on social media, e-commerce, and speed to market. Lisa had a long history with Life is Good as she was previously the Head of Marketing and a founding member of the Board of Directors of its non-profit organization, The Life is Good Kids Foundation, established thirty years ago. Lisa’s background includes both Fortune 500 companies (Staples, Hasbro, and Gillette) and executive positions at several start-ups with successful exits. Lisa holds a BA from Tufts University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Health & Safety Protocols
The IRF prioritizes the safety and security of our attendees, and COVID-19 continues to be a concern. Vaccines are readily available in the United States, and more and more Americans are now fully vaccinated. However, we face a new threat – the Delta variant. In recent weeks, COVID cases have spiked due to the Delta variant. While there are breakthrough cases for the vaccinated, many of those have few or no symptoms. Given increases in COVID-19 cases, we have made the decision to align our health & safety protocols with the recommendations issued by the CDC for large groups.
These measures are for the health and safety or our attendees and the good of the industry. We expect all attendees to comply with these elevated protocols throughout the event. These health & safety protocols are subject to change at any time. If the threat of COVID decreases, and the CDC relaxes its recommendations around masking for groups, the IRF will revisit masking protocols. Any change in protocol will be communicated via email to all registered attendees.
The CDC has declared that people who are fully vaccinated with an FDA-authorized vaccine can travel safely within the United States and do not need to get tested before or after travel. IRF requires that all attendees must be fully vaccinated by Monday, October 11, 2021. People are considered fully vaccinated 2 weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose series, such as the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine. You must receive your final (or only) dose by Sunday, September 26, 2021, to meet these requirements.
Proof of vaccination will be required to attend the 2021 Leadership Insights Forum. We will share more details on how this process will work in the coming weeks.
All attendees will be required to wear face masks that cover both your nose and mouth throughout the event for indoor functions and IRF-arranged transportation. Event rooms and meal functions will be set to maintain a safe distance. Attendees may briefly remove masks while actively eating and drinking. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including face masks will be distributed to all attendees upon arrival.
Daily Symptom Tracking Surveys
Attendees will be required to complete a daily symptom survey each morning. If you successfully meet the survey’s criteria, you will be granted access to IRF event space each day. If you have symptoms or are unable to pass the daily symptom tracking survey, you will be immediately contacted by the IRF for further evaluation.
IRF and our partners will maintain your privacy in accordance with applicable data protection and data privacy requirements.
We realize that for many attendees, these health & safety protocols provide a welcome level of comfort. However, if you cannot comply with the IRF’s health & safety protocols, you may cancel your registration in writing by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday, September 10.
Given that the IRF and Leadership Insights Forum attendees have a vested interest in the return of face-to-face events and incentives, we appreciate you doing your part to have a safe event.
Photography and Videography Policy
By registering for the IRF Leadership Insights Forum you understand that you may be photographed, filmed, or videotaped and you hereby give The Incentive Research Foundation (IRF) the unqualified right to take pictures and/or recordings of you and grant the perpetual right to use your likeness, image, photo (collectively, “image”), without compensation, for broadcast or exhibition in any medium and to put the finished pictures/recordings to any legitimate use without limitation or reservation. You hereby waive, release, and forever discharge IRF from and against any and all claims or actions arising out of or resulting from any use of your image. The IRF shall not be obligated to use, and may elect not to use, your image.
Code of Conduct
In order to maintain an environment that is considered inclusive and respectful of all IRF attendees, staff, and partners, all registered attendees are expected and agree to participate in the Leadership Insights Forum in a manner that adheres to IRF's Code of Conduct.
Our event is dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), or technology choices. We do not tolerate harassment of IRF event participants in any form. Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion, technology choices, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention. Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately. If a participant engages in harassing behavior, IRF may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender or immediate expulsion from the Leadership Insights Forum with no refund.
Participants are expected to respect the host property, partnership displays, physical marketing materials and related collateral, as well as any additional property/vehicle/venue they may encounter while onsite. Participants who cause intentional damages to any items provided by the IRF or our partners may be subject to immediate expulsion from the event with no refund and may be required to provide monetary compensation for damages caused, as deemed appropriate by IRF.
If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of the IRF staff immediately. IRF staff can be identified as they'll be wearing IRF-branded clothing and/or badges.
