Media Center / IRF Launches New Program to Accelerate Incentive Professionals' Careers
The IRF’s new Accelerate program is focused on mid-level incentives professionals who are ready to get more involved in the incentives industry. The inaugural class will include 8-10 incentives, recognition, and rewards professionals, and it will be a mix of program owners, third party planners, and suppliers.
The Accelerate Class of 2024 will benefit from mentorship, committee work, research, and attend the 2024 IRF Invitational.
“The incentives industry needs to proactively and enthusiastically invite in and nurture young and emerging talent,” said Stephanie Harris, President, IRF. “The IRF has been looking at what we can do as a foundation to foster the growth and development of future leaders in our industry. Thanks to our volunteers and partners, the IRF is proud to introduce our new Accelerate program to engage and foster rising leaders.”
The inaugural class will come together as a cohort committing to a year-long program. They will each:
· Join an IRF committee and participate monthly
· Volunteer to work on an IRF research study
· Meet quarterly with a mentor from the IRF Board of Trustees
· Attend the 2024 IRF Invitational as a first-time attendee
· Present to the IRF Board of Trustees at the end of their year, sharing what they learned and celebrating their accomplishments.
There is no cost to Accelerate participants. Find out more about the IRF’s Accelerate Program, including how to apply here.
Thank you to Scott Young and his associates at The Meeting Company for their generous support of IRF Accelerate.
